Parenting Seminar Series


We are honored to have Pastor Ed Bontreger lead a 2 part series on Parenting. Pastor Bontreger has been a pastor since 1974. He has been in Christian counseling ministry since 1983 and in 1985 received a Certification as a Human Resources Consultant. In 1985 he led a successful church plant. He is currently the pastor at Fellowship of Living Hope a non-denominational church in Renssalaer, Indiana. He is the father of 2 and grandfather of 8. He and his wife, Ruthann, have foster-parented over 50 children and have provided care for adults in transition.

Session 1: Monday, November 15, 2010 7-9 p.m

4. Gratefulness vs. Complaining

Session 2: Monday, November 29, 2010 7-9 p.m

2. What Kills Excellence?

3. What Destroys Excellence?

4. What are the Essential Godly Character Qualities?

Both sessions will be held at Gateway Christian Fellowship

This series is targeting parents of teens but ALL parents will find the information very helpful. Invite your friends! Please let us know if you need childcare and we will make arrangements. There is no charge; however, a free will offering will be taken each evening to cover costs.

Spring Break

Don't forget that we will have a week off for our Spring/Easter Break. (Would any of you really forget!?) Classes will resume on April 6. All missing assignments to date are required to be turned in on April 6.

This Tuesday, March 16, is the last day to sign up for and pay for the Gateway Academy T-shirts. The cost is $15. See Schylar Miller.

T-SHIRTS: There is a sign-up sheet on the wall. Please sign up and pay for your t-shirt this week so the order can be processed. We want to get the shirts in asap so they can still be worn for this school year.

Mrs. Gardner is in the hospital (doing ok) but we will have classes. Please keep her in your prayers. She hopes to be home soon.

REMIINDER: Spring Break. We will not have classes on March 30.
